The first group I was put into, was actually the one I was more afraid of. I am not a really good fan of all this ‘Adobe’ subject and don’t understand it much either, however, this experience was much better than what I was expecting!
‘Applications with Ricardo’ – In our group class, we experimented some of the Photoshop Tools and even created a quick idea of a business card, front and back, which, in my opinion, was very useful.
From creating a file or document, setting it up, giving it a name, editing it, using different types of typography and, finally, saving it, I feel that I have learned quite a bit, for someone who had worded with Photoshop, maybe twice.
We were given a project to create a ‘Poster’, inspired in a fist, which aims at Power, we then had to recreate ‘the fist’, showing off a theme that we are passionate about, going through different techniques like collage, illustration and, finally, media.
When ready, we would scan it, and, experimenting now ‘In Design’, which is a pretty good tool to create examples of what we call magazine pages.
At the end, we had to print it as an A3 page as a double A4 spread, containing a title, sub-title and our original poster.
